Phoenix House is nestled on a humble 3,484 sqft lot in the heart of Barrio Logan—one of the most densely urban neighborhoods in San Diego. Despite this, our program emphasizes nature immersion as one of its cornerstones.

We believe that all children should have the chance to engage with the natural world—digging in the soil, observing plants and insects, and understanding their role in caring for the environment. In a time when green spaces are disappearing, we are committed to making nature an accessible and meaningful part of early childhood education.
